Can someone check for balance shaft problem?
Hi guys,

Purchasing another Benz as a second car. Found an 07 CLK350 with 47k miles going for $17k. I was wondering if someone on here could check for the balance shaft issue that apparently is notorious on the late facelift/early 07 models. VIN is WDBTJ56H77F206667.

If you experts here are more knowledgeable of other problems that are associated with an 07 model such as this, please tell me before I decide to actually purchase it.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
That has M272 engine #397907, which is within the affected range with bad balance shafts. While it may be a long time before it fails, I's avoid buying one with this potential problem.

Thank you so much for the fast reply. Glad you were able to catch this problem for me before I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I'll be looking at '08 and onward from now on. Appreciate it.
