xenon HID passenger side not working
I've done the search on the 203 and 209 forums, but can't seem to figure out the answer or consensus.
My factory xenon light does not turn on and I just replaced the bulb yesterday to check to see if it was indeed just the bulb. There was no flicker before and the light would sometimes turn on and stay on or just stay off the whole time.
I'm reading that if it's not the bulb, it's the ignitor and not the ballast. MB now has a repair kit A203 820 11 12 05 that will fix the problem so I don't have to remove the lamp itself, open it up, to get to the ignitor?
Has anyone fixed the xenon problem with the repair kit? Should I just take it to the dealer/ indy to fix?
I've read the star bulletin proceedures on how to repair it but it looks complicated and I don't want to kill myself by electrocution.
