I have used K&N. I do not think they gave any improvement in performance and, according to some posts, there could be a risk of adverse effects on the MAS. I have not cleaned or oiled mine. Received replacement paper filters (Mann) today and will install them over the weekend.

Don't know about the 320 but would bet there are two if there are two air intakes.

I usually recommend against performance filters, especially those that require oiling (i.e. K&N). Just use a good quality filter from Mann and you'll be fine. With the two filters, there is plenty of "surface area" for open breathing.

People say Mann is OEM so they are probably fine. I tried to get away with NAPA filters, but the sealing foam on the filters was so much stiffer than OEM that it deformed the air box, so I took them back.

I don't know how readily available the Mann air filters are locally. I could not find them online at Advance Auto, Auto Zone, or through Summit Racing. I ordered mine from a company online (Application Associates).

Since I was paying shipping, I ordered 2 pair of air filters and an oil filter.

I haven't experienced any problen with the K&N's I am currently using. I think the engine sound is a bit less with the K&N. But this may be because of the headerson mine. I am going back to paper so I am not worried about the MAS problem, and I don't want to bother with cleaning and oiling the filter. I rather just pay $25 and chg them once a year.

If I don't chg them until next week (while neighbors are at work) rather than the wekend I will get before and after sound clips.

Mann is the OEM brand - you can get these from Ama*on or Pe*ican Pa*ts...DIY is easy.

Mann-Filter CU 3461 Cabin Filter / CUK 3641 (is the same item with charcoal - not necessary)

Mann-Filter C 3698-2 Air Filter (Set of 2)
