INTERIOR CLEANING
the inside of the car on the ceiling and the cloth on the pillar by the windshield has gotten dirty with some black substance and i'd like to know if anyone knows how to get that clean....... i don't want to just scrub it and all of a sudden the fabric starts to bubble then fall in..........
any help will be appreciated............

My first step would be to use a plain water dampened microfiber towel. I assume the material color is something other than black or charcoal. My interior is black, but I clean them often because I drive withthe windows down alot.
If the water does no clean it, you could use a product called "Teddy Bear" cleaner. I've used it on the cloth seats of my p/u and my daughters Honda (1999). It cleans extremely well without any negative effects that I have been able to detect. I will jot down the mfg later today.

The Teddy Bear Cleaner is made by Siege Chemical. I don't recall where I bought it from; probably Target or Walmart. I've also used this on my drivers' side floor mat.
There are products from Meguiars, and others I'm sure, but I have never used them.
