Please see the pic below. Is there supposed to be a rubber seal in the oval hole that I circled below? This is under the hood, of coourse.

When we went to see the CLK just after it was delivered at the dealer, there were a couple of oval-shaped rubber seals lying loose in the trunk. Anyone know where they should go?

Its the same on mine, no rubber ring.
