Radar detectors.....??
I was just thinking that now I have ordered my 500 I may want to get a radar detector

Does anyone have recommendations ?? Does anyone have theirs installed so its not very visible?

Any pics would be appreciated. Thanks.

This baby has saved my butt many a time!
As for a pic....go buy any issue of Car and Driver, Road and track, Automobile, etc... They will have ads for almost all the new radar detectors...including the Valentine one.

I know everyone has there favorites....so don't take my word for gospel!

Hardwire install on V1
Hey, any of you guys with the V1, have you done the hardwire install on your CLK? And if so, got a link to the DIY?

What i did was pull out the red wire behind the cigarette lighter and just tap it from the connectors the V1 came with. Then just ground it wherever and hide all the wires

Near the bottom of the page you can find a word document that describes the process for a W208. It should be possible to do a similar install with the w209.
