Clk Rear Suspension Problem
Since i got my Forgestar's on, my rear-end has been acting up. When i go over a pot-hole my rear end bounces and kina hops?
i don't know what's going on. I'm on stock shocks and H&R springs (80k miles on the shocks and 30k on the springs). What's going on? are my wheels too light for the suspensiopn lol or are the shocks prob going out?
EDIT: i am using the thickest spring pad on the rear 17mm, could this be the problem?

Its very possible that you may need new shocks, I was always told that using after market springs and QEM shocks is not a good idea it makes the shocks wear out faster.

i replaced my rears at 60K
with bilstein b8's
cost about $200
easy to do
huge difference even just keeping everything stock
they are just mono tubes and with all the torque the AMG puts out it makes sense to me that they would wear out

I also have H&R springs. 18" wheels... I have been experiencing intermittent brutal jarring in the front when going over rough patches. I plan to replace the stock shocks/struts with bilsteins in the spring. BTW, I had the springs installed about 25K-30K miles ago.
