Are you kidding?! You think these interiors are similar?!
They both have round air vents... the similarity ends there. I think the effort to ding the new CLK has hit an all time low!!!

i've said a number of bad things about the new clk, but the interior is nicer than the a4 cabriolet, at least from the pictures.
I just hate the back-half of the car..everything from the door handle backwards.

CLK seat control chicklets look ridiculous like an afterthought.
The Audi 4 looks like it is designed by a harmonious design team; the CLK's design team appears dysfunctional.

Have to agree.
Looks like the W209 interior was a last-ditch effort by the engineering team to throw EVERYTHING they could into their new baby.
Speaking of babies, hopefully this ugly duckling syndrome we see with the new CLK will come to pass when the car debuts live.
