CLK500 W209 Rear view mirrors
Shouldn't the mirrors tilt down once you put the transmission into 'R'? I can't find it in the manual. Is this a setup option or an appointment at MB Service Center?

There are three things you need to do before this will work (at least for my '04 CLK320 cab):
1) Store the reverse position for the mirror.
2) Enable the option in the menus (Settings/Convenience, I think).
3) Make sure the passenger side mirror is selected.
These things are all described in the manual - I suggest you look for it, since storing the mirror reverse position was not intuitive for me.
