Brembo 4pot CLK55 calipers/oem SL65 19" wheels
HEy guys just thought id share a few photos of the brake upgrade i did recently.. They are oem CLK55, C55, C32 Brembo 4 piston calipers with Textar 345mm pads and rotors.
In my opinion they look 10X better than the factory set up. Would've preferred the 6/4 CLK63 set up but couldn't find any. As for braking performance there is an increase in terms of having more bite to it as you put your foot down. Visually they look heaps better compared to the standard brakes especially when you have wheels that are very open. They fill up the gap nicely and give a much more better appearance. Rear calipers/hubs were also repainted to give an all round fresh look. As you can see from the photos there is a noticeable difference in rotor size. Its also a very easy conversion and everything is literally bolt up without any modifications whatsoever. There are a couple of other members here who have also done the same upgrade who i have got the ideas from so thanks to them i was able to do the same and not worry in terms of fitment.

SLS amg/ OEM 19" SL65 AMG wheels
Just some more photos of the brakes with my 20" Hanover RS rims ( that ive just recently sold), A photo of my standard oem 18" AMG wheels and also the 19" CL 63 RS wheels ( from formymercedes.com). Personally the brakes look the best behind the CL63 RS rims in my opinion..
Also for laughs i bought this SLS AMG ride on.. I can now say i have an SLS amg in my garage haha
Also just a quick shot of my new wheels that are currently on a plane ride to my house . 19" oem SL65 multipiece AMG wheels. i dont know about you guys but this would have to be my all time favourite mercedes benz amg wheel. They just have that timeless look that basically looks good on any merc.
They're the rare 19X10 +28 rear option with the 19x8.5 +25 up front. They were originally silver and i had asked for them to be refinished in the titanium grey colour.. Its not a 100% match but im still happy with the result and cant wait to put them on the car. Im thinking of using a 255/30/19 tyre just to be safe for clearance as a 19x10 +28 is gonna be a pretty dam aggressive fit.

Just a few more shots of the oem SL65 wheels with the original colour and when they were unbolted. The new colour does look different in each lighting so hopefully they look good in person..
ALso sorry guys for draining it with the photos lol..
