ESP Inoperative - steering angle sensor

Hi all,

I had a bent tie rod that was causing the steering angle sensor to through an ESP Inoperative code. I've had it replaced, but it is still showing the code (though the orange "ESP off" triangle is no longer lighting up). Do you think this is just an old code that needs to be cleared, or do I need to replace the steering angle sensor also?

thanks,
Zack
