Eye Bolts
When my CLK ws delivered there were two 8 1/2" long brass colored eye bolts sitting in the right well in the trunk. What are these used for?? Also there is a sort of Z shaped thin metal bar in the glove box next to the cd changer - does that have something to do with the cd changer?
Thanks in advance!

The Eye Bolts were used to secure your car on the boat during shipping. Sometimes you get them and sometimes you dont. They are different than the Eye Bolts that are part of the kit in the trunk used for emergency towing, etc.
The Z-shaped tool is to manually open/close the sunroof in case of mechanical faliure. There is a slot that it fits in under one of the roof light covers.
