Help with CLK Shift Knob

Hello everyone, I have an 05 clk500 and i was looking to get a new shifter boot because the leather has a hole in it, so might as well get a new shift knob as well right? I came across 2 and i was wondering what is the difference between the two? here is the first one: http://formymercedes.com/morepics.as...S-19-1-mp1.jpg and the second one: http://dctms.com/product__ACS_Merced...hiftknobs.html the first one comes with the traditional 3 star emblem which i want but howcome they are over $150 apart? also can someone send me a link on how to remove/install the new shift knob? thanks!

NO LONGER ACTIVE
I don't know why there is a price difference, but I can tell you that Jerry at ForMyMercedes is a great guy to deal with - great service and stands behind his sales. I posted a DIY for radio removal, and the first few steps of that will get the shift knob off:

The more expensive one looks like a factory part made in carbon fiber. It has the same shape, and has the curved line in it. The other is some aftermaket part that fits, but is not as gracefully shaped. The fact you need to send your old one in as a core tells me its a factory part covered in carbon. Those look nice.

So you think it is worth paying $170 more for that shifter? thanks

Since I can't hold both in my hand, I can't tell if there are any quality differences besides the obvious difference in shape. So if we assume they both work perfectly, whether knowing you have an MB part and the shape difference is worth $170 is totally up to you. I can only say that if I was buying one for my car I'm sure I'd talk myself into the better one.
