Smile Test AMG speedshift

Enthusiasts here are planning to swap the EGS from an AMG vehicle.
We're checking if the efficient AMG speedshift is the S/W version whether non-AMG vehicle install plain EGS version.
less proactive or slower in gear shifting.

I expect those V8 owners can retrofit that software.

2010 ML350 GAS 4Matic
I would love to have more aggressive software in my CLK500.

When I drive the car hard, the shift pattern learns my style pretty good and shifts well. Unfortunately, 75% of the time, I can't drive the car as hard as I want and I'm stuck in stop and go traffic. Then the car learns to be sluggish.

Rather than having a learning transmission, I would rather have a toggle switch. One way for aggressive and the other for a more laid-back driving style.

I'm very interested in hearing about the AMG software and how we can install it in our CLK 500's.

Unhappy

Guys, we failed in C32AMG /C320 swap
Mapped AMG got no airmass signal to EGS while C320 do

As to CLK55/CLK500, they're all thru airmass, we have no CLK55
import here, if you ppl in the states have friends happen to own one & will help it.

It's only a 10 min swap & go for a test run.

Damn, I wonder what else is different? The trannies themselves are the same, right?

Hi, 500AMG
You mean the gear box ? They're the same.
Only differs in final axle ratio 2.82(500) vs 3.06(55)

Sorry for not clarifying. Yes I meant the gearbox. I guess the AMG software must be doing some sort of check or something (because it doesn't work on the 500)?
