Warm Air

For the 2 air vents in the middle of the dash, I just noticed that the air from the left vent is warmer than the right. The temp is set to be 22c on both sides.

Maybe this is why I find my car does not warm up fast enough.

The temperature actuator is the main cause of this problem then a/c control module is out of the limits. You may replace the temperature actuator however it is best to have your dealer update the a/c control module.

To clarify, there is still warm air coming from the right vent but it is noticably cooler than the left. Since the temps are set at the same level on both sides, the air temperatires should be similar.

I did change the pollen filter 2-3 weeks ago but it should not impact the air temp.

Are you having to run the A/C to cool the air? If so, this could be an issue with low refrigerant. My C240 did this - cool air on the passenger side, warm air on the driver's side. I checked and the refrigerant was a little low, so I recharged it and all was fine. It seems there are expansion valves in the refrigerant lines that can fail to open fully when there' insufficient pressure, and the air to the driver's side get warmer.

This morning I switched on and off the AC. Same results, the air from the driver side is noticably warmer than the passenger side.

Have you tried the A/C test/reset procedure? With the engine running, simultaneously press and hold the RECIRC and FRONT DEFOG buttons until their indicator lights begin to blink. They should stop after 20-30 seconds. If not, you have a damper control problem (broken linkage or bad servo). If they do stop, then the A/C control at least sees all the dampers working properly, so maybe it's the duo valve controlling the flow of coolant through the heater core stuck open.

I did the AC Test/Reset procedure, both with AC On and AC Off. The blinking lights of the 2 button would stop after about 20-25 seconds.

Still, the air of the driving side vents are warmer than the passanger side; same with or without AC. This is so strange.
