Posting large pics in text?

I know how to attach pics to a post - the little thumbnails that need to be individually clicked on. But where can I learn how to insert enlarged pics into a post - the kind that don't need to be clicked on and you can type explanations between each pic?

Upload your pictures to photobucket and then copy the "IMG URL" and paste it here.

That simple!

Thanks guys, but I am apparently too dense to figure it out. I have uploaded pics to photobucket no problem, and resized them to 800x600. Then I open a message box here. Then I click on the little yellow icon above the message box that looks like two little mountains that says "insert image." That causes a little window to pop up asking for a URL. Then I cut and paste the big long URL at the top of the photobucket page for the pic I have open. All I get in my message is the dreaded little red x. So where did I go wrong?

NO LONGER ACTIVE
So, let's try it. Here's a link to a photo - I just copied the URL right into the post:

http://benzbits.com/W209/Radio/FaceliftDash.jpg

Now, here's the same photo, but I locked the "photo link" (i.e. two mountains icon) to enter the URL:

OK, so the direct paste just give a clickable link with no photo, but the Image tool resized the photo to a more sane size, though not a thumbnail, then you can click it to go full-size. This is using a straight jpg link that I uploaded to my website. With Photobucket and other sharing sites, you can link to their thumbnail version of you photo, then when you click that, you transfer to the full size.
