As long as you find one that meets 299.5 spec, yes. But why? 0w40 Mobile 1 is much more readily available.

Because usually Costco has MB1 Synthetic 5w30 on special, not sure if it meets the spec, but I am going to check on it.

Just received an email from NAPA, they have MB1-0w40 for $5.99/Quart, is it cheap you think?

Because Walmart has it for $6.97, Amazon has it for $6.55.

Thoughts?

That 5w30 Mobil 1 does not meet 229.5 specs. Go for the "right" stuff on sale at NAPA.
