A bucket on wheels
stick or auto?

after reading a post in generals on manual or auto, i decided to poll the board so if you would not mind,
if there was an option to have a manual tranny on all mercedes, would you have ordered your car with it? also please feel free to open this up for discussion if you feel mercedes should not make it an option or you wouldn't get a manual tranny.

i am going to average out the stats to see whats the majority's vote in mbworld

Slk 230 & CLK500
If they gave us a choice I would consider a manual. Have one in my SLK230 but with my CLK500 no choice.

A manual is definitely fun to drive, but in a Mercedes whether it's an AMG or not I want it to be an automatic because it's more of a luxury touring car! Now if MB offered something similar to BMW's SMG then that would be ideal!!!! I'm a bit surprised MB hasn't come out with something already to compete there???!!!
