I originally had the older white pin ipod aux connector in my glove box. When that went bad i went to the dealer and bought the updated cable. After installing, the cable went bad after a day. It also wouldnt connect completely to my ipod and iPhone(showing its disconnecting and connecting constantly)

The dealer says they dont cover this problem under warranty. What should i do? Buy another cable? Anybody have similiar issues?
