Looking for a used 2003 CLK500 - What problems to look for?
Hello,
I am looking at buying a slightly used 2003 CLK 500. Since the 2003 CLK was a new model, what are the problems that I could possibly expect with the car?

These are some of the most common problems, but the previuos owner may have already had those corrected. Check the service records of the car and if you want to check for abuse during the break-in period you MAY be able to get the service dept to down load info from the cars computer to check for this...I'm not sure if 1) they will do it and 2) if the info is still in memory but it would be very nice to know. I've read on the BMW M3 forum back when they were having all the engine failures the service depts were pulling all kinds of driving info from the vehicles computer looking for abuse etc.
