Amplifier

My two rear door channels are not producing sound. There is some static on one side and nothing on the other. I think the stock bose amp is fried on those channels. Has anyone run into this on a 03 clk500?

NO LONGER ACTIVE
They can fail, but it might also be blown speakers. The non-Bose speakers in our C240 literally rotted. An automobile door panel is a fairly harsh environment. Ten years is a good lifespan for speakers there.
