I have used exclusively MB oil filter from the dealership.

I came across the following oil filter in Autohausaz:

Mann OEM, HU7185X
Oil Filter kit, Polyester Fleece Media, Extended Service

This is maybe 40% of what I pay at the dealerships. Anyone tried this oil filter with their w209 (M112)?

Mann is the OEM maker for Mercedes. So it ought to be the same filter. Can you get it shipped for less than the 40% price difference?

They have 2 kinds, paper and fleece. I will get the one with fleece media.

I am asking my friend in US to order it for me, properly 2 or 3. Also, air filters as well. He plan to visit Montreal soon.
