Looking for 2008-9 CLK Cab. Hi Rodney

A couple of yrs ago found a great 2007 CLK Cab, Less than a yr later my wife decided she wanted a GLK350 so I sold the Cab and cried a lot. Circumstances have changed. I am now fully retired. The 2013 350 GLK (wife's) is now our full time car and I am not using my 2012 E350 Sport very much. GREAT CAR by the way. 11,000 mi.
So I am considering going back to a 2008-9 CLK Cab for myself and selling my E350.
Appreciate any pointers you can give. What model year did the CLK get factory Bluetooth? Personally I have no preference for the V6 or V8. Probably will drive less than 5-6,000 mi/yr. So I just want a fun car to drive.
Have gone on MBUSA site and found well equipt CPO 09,s @ $35k +/_. This could very well be he last car I buy as I am 80+.
Hope to hear from you.

2008 CLK550 Cab
I'm sure Rodney will respond, but in a nutshell, there is no difference to speak of between the 2007 you had and a 2009. Nothing at all changed in the electronics. The only differences after 2007 are things like what wheels came standard. Otherwise they are identical cars. They retained the same antiquated electronics.

I can add that Bluetooth was available (or easily added) in nearly any CLK, even with Audio20 HU. I have found that the 550s are generally better equipped than 350s: AMG trim, upgraded HVAC, white guages, black maple, etc.

^ +1. You will get 18" wheels standard compared to the 17s on the MY2007. Bluetooth was never made standard on the W209 - it still requires either $1K worth of factory equipment or $550 of aftermarket parts.

CLK Cab or 2008-9 SLK; What do you think?

Have also considered 08 or 09 SLK's. Is the SLK 300 worthwhile w/the 4 banger? Have had 2005/7 SLK350's. They were good cars.

The MY2008/2009 US model SLK didn't offer a 4-cylinder. The SLK280 had a 3.0l version of th eM272 V6 and the SLK350 had the 3.5l version. The SLK55 had the AMG 5.5.l version of the M113.

The SLK is a nice car, but I find it a bit too small for my tastes. It definitely has a lot of spunk and is fun to driver - much more of a sports car compared to the CLK's touring car mannerisms.
