W209 Chrome Key Fob dismantling
I have the Chrome Smartkey and I want to open it to check for corrosion or any other crap. The reason I feel it needs to nbe checked and cleaned if possible is the blade shows signs of corrosion. After taking the blade out there's a small Lil tab on the inside of the fob....I can get that side up but not he other side...please advise....my batteries are dying in 2weeks time and my IR is he only thing that worke...INTERMITTENLY.....no long distance use of the door locks...thanks in Advance for the help....

Triangle....weird thing just happened ......Went outside to roll up windows and lock it....did that used IR mode to lock...walked to Mail box and hit lock button again and the lights flashed....hit it again and they flashed again....30 ft away..... Grabbed mail and hit it once more and nothing.....I'm pretty sure if I can get this open ill see some kind of build up...
