Forgive me if this has already been answered but does anyone know how to access the stock amplifier on a 2004 CLK 500 CABRIO? I read and seen pictures that show it behind the passengers side rear wheel but not the case on my car. I started to take out the trunk liner behind the passenger seats but got a little intimidated. I don't want to upset anything related to the soft top. Am I warm? Any help is appreciated!

The amp is actually behind the rear driver wheel and is behind the inner fender . You wont see the amp you will just see the tip of it . Remove the liner covering the rear sam on the driver side . you dont need to remove the liner that the top shocks goes through . let me know if that helps
