CLK 320 2005 model Convertible.
Hi guys.
I am using a clk320 convertible 2005 model. have been having issues with my car's "case cover hydraulic lock cylinder". It spills fluid whenever i open or close the roof. Any good advice on what to do would be highly appreciated as i live in Nigeria, Africa.
Thanks.
Note: if i have to replace it, please provide genuine vendor details. Thanks again.

If the fluid is coming from the cylinder itself, the seals have probably failed. Not uncommon. You cannot replace just the seals yourself. I don't know about parts availability in Nigeria. Getting international shipping may cost more than just finding a local dealer of Mercedes parts. I'm sure Mercedes must have some outlet in Nigeria. But if you want other options, I can tell you what I would do if that part failed on my car in the U.S. First, there is a vendor on this site called TopHydraulics that replaces the seals on these parts. They post answers in the forums on these types of questions. You can search for them on the site. Second, you can buy a new cylinder from Parts.com. Parts.com arranges for parts to be shipped from a dealer, but at reduced prices. Again, I do not know about shipping to Nigeria. You would have to ask.

Thanks man, i checked parts.com, i actually saw the replacement part, but they do not offer international services, Cus they can't process credit cards that has billing address outside the US. So is a back to square one for me.
Thanks again for the effort.
