Question on Lowering
Hello, I'm looking to lower my car with H&R Springs. I want to lower the car so it looks evenly lowered on the fronts and the rear. Do I need to get anything other than springs? I have stock everything right now, including the stock 17" rims with the AMG appearance package. Would 0.75" be enough to make it look nice without making it look to "low rider"?
Or should I lower the fronts more than the rears or vice versa? Thanks!!

One con I can think of is got to be really careful when parking with high curbs hard habit to break. http://www.hrsprings.com/application...ts/25/449/2005

I have 18" wheels but I have about 1/2" of muffler lower than the underbody panel, and a part of my exhaust pipe is about an inch lower (this low point is at the axle). And I have a front lip spoiler which makes the bumber an inch lower to the ground.
I just have to be careful. I have had no problem with speed bumps, even the elongated ones. I've practiced using my outside mirror housing as a guage point (align with an imaginary line parallel to the bumper) to not get too close to those concrete parking stops. I live on a hill and have to back out the drive onto the street. Going out forward causes the spoiler to scrap slightly.
I doubt that you will encounter a hole in the road that would be deep enough and long enough to cause any scraps. I guess if you do, it would not be considered a "pothole"; probably a "bathtub" hole.
Though your height will be more, you should avoid straddling protruding objects, like the gas station in-ground fill points and those long slopped exit/entry points used at many underground parking garages. These may cause you to just scrap a bit, but w/o any real damage, unless you're speeding through a gas station or in/out of the parking garage. Also avoid straddling fresh road kill
