My convertible top got stuck and wouldn't close all the way. Before we figured out how to reset it I kept pushing the open/close button and it sounded like the motor was struggling - perhaps I drained a battery or tripped something trying to close it???? Finally reset it and got it closed. Then I attempted to open the top. When I push the open/close button the windows all go down but then it stops after that - it says "top in operation" while windows go down and then after windows go down it says nothing, makes no noises and just stops after that. Any suggestions????

It could be a motor problem (maybe a bad relay - there are two on the motor housing) or you may have a bad microswitch that makes it think the top is in the wrong position. One thing that sometimes help is to manually open it, then try closing with the switch. Search the forum - I've posted instructions and a video on manual operation. Opening is the same as closing except you move the top into the trunk instead of out.
