HID bulb or ballast problem?
Every now and then my right or passenger side bulb or ballast fails or errors. It tells me the light bulb is out but when I refire or restart the car it works just fine again. How much do they each cost? (1)Bulb only and (1)Ballast only, and both if I do anything should I replace both bulb and ballast or just the broken 1?

depending on how old they are you might get a slight different color output...if you can afford it i would go ahead and change both ballasts. they're only about $100 a piece and the bulbs you can get cheap as long as they're D2R.

The problem side (passenger side) isn't white as the other side. Is that a key in figuring what might b wrong? Price is at the dealer correct? Or it's all the same price? I guess I can start with just the bulb and go from there.

then its most likely the ballast going bad...and i correct myself they're D2S bulbs...
Just search the forum for ballasts and you'll come up with a parts number. Ebay is a good place to look as well
