VBelt squeal. 06' CLK350 AC Compressor Pulley?
Hey guys,
My vbelt started squealing (only in the morning during cold starts) I decided to change out the belt... In the process I also realized my idler pulley #1 was bad so I changed it out also.
Now, all the other pulleys seemed fine and were quiet but the AC compressor was a little stiff to turn.
I put on the new belt (tension seems fine) but there is still a (morning only) squeal.
I want to replace the AC compressor pulley only.. Is that possible and how much would that cost?

Unfortunately, no, the A/C compressor pulley is not available as a separate part - you have to but the entire compressor. At least that is the official repair method - there may be some shops or parts rebuilders that can replace just the pulley/bearing.
