Yes, it'll work However, you do understand that there'll be rather significant sound quality degradation and dynamic range compression from Bluetooth, right? My wife owns a Bluetooth Bose Soundlink that I never go near because I find the sound quality unacceptable. As it is, MP3s below 320K already don't sound right. Put it through Bluetooth or anything wireless and it goes downhill. But, it'll work for sure.

and yea I was thinking about sound degradation. the clearest sound I have is basically iPhone to hardwire OEM into clk

Agreed there is a huge sound quality difference between bluetooth connections and hardwired, I personally prefer hardwired for that reason as well.
One note of caution - make sure the device specifically states that it will work for iPhone 5 if you are using one, I have an aftermarket touchscreen system that was put in shortly before the iPhone 5 was released, and it will not recognize the iPhone 5 because it is running on a different bluetooth version or something. Its extremely frustrating and I have my old iPhone in the car if I want to ever connect the two. I am still waiting for a software update from the manufacturer...
