Repair List
I received the following list of repairs for my MB dealer for my 2003 CLK320 with regular service at 103K when the engine light came on. I drive local at maybe 500 miles/month on the weekends. MB Service Associate recommends not repairing the car and just trade in for a newer model because my extended warranty is now useless. I'm not convinced....what are your thoughts?
INJECTORS SEALS $919.65 ( this parts can brake because of time and wear, ( the replacement of the manifold $1240.00 additional ) replace the manifold
Engine and transmission mounts $ 1057.00
Rear main seal leaking oil $ 1709.00

2004 CLK320
My 2004 CLK320 has almost 180k miles and I never had these parts replaced.
I wanted to replace my engine and transmission mounts. My indie checked this week and he said the engine mounts were OK.
Very hard to give you advices without knowing symptoms and maintenance history. One thing for sure is you should get a second opinion before making any decision. Try to find a local MB indie.

If the MIL is illuminated, get the codes checked. in fact, if the dealer is suggesting this, ask them for the DTCs that they pulled and then we can help decide what might need to be done vs. what is dealer profit.
