any relatively easy fix for key fob radio range on coupe?
Hi. i have a coupe with anemic key fob remote lock/unlock range. Any quick fix (already changed the batteries in the key)? i heard the antenea is under the bottom of the rear window. tried (a bit) to get to it and couldn't.

Check fuse #8 on the rear SAM (fuse panel in the trunk). If it's good, then there's not much you can do unless you want to spend some $$ on the antenna and a huge hassle dropping the headliner to replace it.

It's at the top of the rear window, glued to the glass. There are two possible points of failure. One is that it just becomes detached from the glass so it no longer makes contact with its embedded wiring. It could also just be failure of the amp itself since it gets very hot under the black strip of glass where it is attached.

ok. I can see the amp now. i guess the headliner in my car (I bought i used a few months ago) was removed/reinstalled before and the left the rear part just hanging down. So, I can just sit in the backseat, look up, and pull down (a bit) the rear of the headliner (the rear of it doesn't seem to be attached to anything) and see the amp just fine. it looks fine (well attached) to me except maybe the farmost left and right sides where it is a bit detached from the window. So, let's assume the amp is good for now (I guess I can test it somehow with DAS?), what are these springs i read about in WIS? it says something about the amp being pressed against the glass be springs. i don't see any springs. I guess they would have to be between the interior side of the headliner and the amp?
