What's up everyone. I hope all is well. Today I figured I'd get some advice on my 04 CLK 500 and how to replace the rear window regulator. I was recently riding on the highway and got a flat on my low profile 19" tire on the rear passenger side. I honestly think because I was moving fast the wobble on that side loosened the rear window regulator. I'm not the best learner but I managed to study a few youtube videos and some articles on how to remove the window regulator and I'm almost there. I'm at the airbag right now and there a some weird circular kind of bolts holding it in. I'm not sure what to use. Let me know your thoughts about moving forward with a mechanic or about DIY if anyone has done this. thanks.

 

Those are rivets holding the airbag in place. They have to be drilled out.
