CLK 350 - 2009 vs. 2008, Mechanical Problems?
I'm looking at purchasing a 2009 CLK-350 w/49,000 miles on it. When I look at the J.D. Power reviews for the 2008 vs. the 2009, the quality of the 2009 is much lower according to them...and I can't figure out why:
The 2008 has 4 and 5 star marks for Quality, Performance and Design, and Dependability. The 2009 has much lower marks.
Does anyone know what changed between the 2008 & 2009 model years that prompted such a drop in the J.D. Power reviews for the 2009 CLK-350?

The only changes was that for MY2009, they added a special "sport" package for the final edition. Honestly, the W209 is such a low-production vehicle, just a handful of extra problems reported on a survey can really skew the numbers.
