04 clk 500 cabriolet
New and had a question.
Hey I'm new here to Macworld and would like to say greetings to you all. I come from a world hondas so new here.I just picked up a Mercedes clk 500 2004 Chevrolet with 37k miles for 6k . The only thing wrong was the previous owner did a insurance total loss claim. The only things that I found were wrong was.
1 head lights ballast bulbs were done for.
2 the interior was stabbed ( seat sensor passengers air bag)
3 top seems to not work and says it in operation when it's not.
3 sirs lights are on and says to see dealer ship.
4 a key mark across the car
5 have to revive car for dmv
I was just wondering two things
1 was this car worth it?
2 better for me to part the car ?
This I have done already.
Fixed head lights 420$
Bought the wrong complete Interior but used the seat sensor for passenger side. 500$
Smogged
Any opinion or advice will help greatly . Thank you

Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?
You didn't tell us why the car was totaled. Seat was stabbed? The SRS is probably on due to the damaged sensor. It need to be reset by somebody with the proper equipment. It will not go out by itself. The top may possibly be tied to that as well. Somebody else may know.

It was a total loss due to a insurance scam I believe. There is stab marks along all the seats as well as the rear air bag. There's a few stab marks from a blade on the drop top as well. I opened the trunk and it seems like the previous owner did some type of writing in the trunk that is live when the car is on. Which is scared because there are two brown wires that seem to be added but not connected to anything . Thank you for the reply
