to install the electronic trunk closer? Has anyone looked into this?

Unfortunately the CLK is history . It is really quite a necessary feature, especially for the cabrio, because it is almost impossible to close the trunk with one hand only.

Just for interest's sake, I presume that all the wiring is already done? IIRC you use the existing switches in the trunk (emergency open) and driver's door (remote open) to also close the trunk?
