Exhaust system tuning
Read the MKB web word by word, you'll find they upgrade the whole exhaust flow at hp over 360 ps.
It's interesting a 50k keep stock exhaust that's designed for 306 ps natural aspired.
Ok, the project is 80% finished
(1) Custom made headers is bolt on,adapt from SL55 K8
(2) Metal cats, under test & refine
(3) W209/CLK55 exhaust 75mm vs CLK500 70mm ,
yet the AMG exhaust is quieter ! it doesn't equip w silencer
which CLK500 get one in the middle.
Thanks for Kleemann advices, 50k models break thru the 500
ps constraint.

Gear box enhencement could be next project.

Can't wait the local development of metal cats.
I find one HJS cats just available here for 5.0 V8, inner diameter 20% larger than HJS V6 cats.
Larger inner means slower flow & better purify effect.
So I put
V8 headers + HJS/V8 + 70mm straight pipe + CLK55 75mm
A bloody test between AMG & Kleemann members is coming soon
My assignment is simple, test run with W211/E55AMG :p

Accessment of CLK50K full exhaust upgrade
Concern :
(1) Interior noise -> stay quiet
(2) Lower rpm TQ -> no drop, it's a kompressor car
(3) Exterior Sporty note -> move back to the muffler, AMG muffler sounds always deep & elegant
Wish :
(1) Higher rpm TQ, G....r....e....a....t...l....y improved !
(2) Exhaust temp, dropped significantly

I guess it's from Victor. they made similiar steer wheel for W203.
The one in my car was prepared for R230 (interchangeable)

I quoted that kit in day 1 it released .........
Twice the price as standard AMG kits !!!!!
The only difference is the front bumper, brake cooling hole
on both sides, but you've to buy 4 pcs all.
Not cost effective for me, if you're still in stock, go try one !
