Hey everyone this is my first time posting to MBWorld I've read threads before and found many posts really useful and I finally joined. I have a 2006 CLK500 that I absolutely enjoy driving. Unfortunately right now my grille has seen better days.

I am need of replacing the grille and I was wondering if anyone knows if the W211 grille will fit my W209. I have seen a couple of parting posts on Craiglist and they are for a 2007 E-Class. I have also seen a couple of grilles on Ebay.

Does anyone have experience replacing their CLK500's grilles?

Lots of posts on grills if you search the forum. Not sure about the fit of a w211, but many posts about aftermarket grills. Lots of people like to change to the one with only one horizontal bar.

I used to own a W211, it doesn't fit. Replacing a W209 grill takes 10 minutes and a flathead screwdriver. That's it.

Just pick ebay after you google "w209 grille".
You willl see many options. Prices range from $150 to $300.

Like everything in ebay, you have to select a reputable seller.

I purchased 2 grilles from the same seller on Ebay for 2 different cars and they fit perfectly and looked great for years. I remember the seller's name being Jakuo. Good Luck.
