2002 CLK430
ENGINE SWAP
I have a chance to pick up a low mileage AMG engine. It's from 1998. The seller says it will fit my car.
Does anyone know if this is a drop in replacement for my 2002 CLK 430?
Mainly concerned about the big stuff like fitting, engine mounts, tranny and major connections.

First, you are in the wrong forum. You have a W208. But I think the LOL is that you say what you are "mainly concerned about" and pretty much list everything. And you don't even say engine you are talking about. What you didn't list was ECU compatibility. Engine swaps are seldom a simple thing.

As for my original question I guess I should have just asked is it possilbe and if so, how hard and how costly, just a basic guide based on 1-10, 10 being the most complicated / most expensive.
