Parking lamp bulb replacement
Noob question I know. My dash keeps saying right parking light malfunction. The light is sometimes working, sometimes not but it still comes up with a message anyway. Is this the car telling me the bulb is about to go completely so get a new one?
There is a nice grey twist cap on the back of the headlight assembly and I presume it is easy enough to just unclip the harness and remove the bulb?
What are people using for replacements? Just generic local parts store bulb, expensive dealer bulbs, new LEDs from internet... or something else?

I had the same warnings/notifications. I replaced them with a couple side marker lamps I had (new and amber).
Using the amber lamps was intended to ensure that would fix the problem, but I kinda like the light amber light when running with the parking lights. Will probably order some bright white 2825 replacement lamps later.
