Regarding the SmartTop controller...on the W209, it allows operation up to 25mph. I do it all the time and have had no issues. Ironically, if you don't have the SmartTop, and start driving while the top is in motion, it stops, which mean snow you could accelerate to higher speed which could do some damage. At least with the SmartTop, it will keep operating up to 25mph and maybe get things stowed away before reaching higher speeds.

 

Thank you. I really like this thing. I didn't know about its existence. It packs features I always dreamed about. Important thing that I can use my own fob. And installation seems to be relatively easy.
