Sunroof not automatically opening & closing.

To open it, I have to push the button like 10-15 times. Each time I push it opens it like an inch. Getting real annoying. To close it, I can hold the button to close it but I can't just hit it once to auto-close it. Also, when I'm opening it, it tries to open farther than it normally would if it did automatically. It his the sunshade then makes a noise.

Any suggestions to fix it? Thanks.

Okay, after messing with it for a bit and not doing anything really special, it started to work a little normally again. I can auto open it now. I can't auto close it. It starts to close then opens back up. If I hold it though, it will close. This happened to my E320 as well. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm no expert but look up resetting the unit by holding the switch down for a few seconds after turning the key on. I had to do it after removing the battery. There might be more than that to it but you can look it up in the manual or online.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
Try pulling fuse #9 (on the rear SAM, in the trunk) to reset the Overhead Control Panel.
