Goodbye CLK
It has been an awesome ride guys!
This is the car that i have loved more than any other one.
I remember those summer days I could not wait to get in it and start driving. Lots of "what a nice car" "thumbs up on the highway" the feeling that you get when you catch people turning their head from your rear view mirror.
I loved every second of this car but with 120,000 miles it was time for something new.
Got a 2012 C300 and ready to start a new adventure.
Last pic of my baby...
Sold it to a good friend of mine so at least i still get to see it around town!

Personally, I've never warmed up to the W204. It's a nice car, with a lot of refinement and it drives very well (probably the sportiest MBZ ever). But it just seems to lack a lot of what I like about MBZ. Of course you have to understand that I almost swore off MBZ when they moved the windows switches from their rightful spot in the center console and to the door panel. And now they've move the central door lock button! :-(

I appreciate all your help you have given to the W209 board, definitely has saved me a couple hundred $$$
I wish you could get a W204 so you could help out the other room as well lol

Yep, first they move the window switches to the door panel, then they move the central door lock switch there, too. Now the shifter is moved to the steering wheel. What's next? Are they going to move the headlamp bright/dim switch to the floorboard? Then we will have come full-circle, back to driving 1970's GM cars!

I actually like the shifter on the wheel, wish the clk had it there too...tough going back and forth between the cars..really frees up the console area, and I use the paddle shifters a lot...cheers!
And I wish the high beam switch was on the floor too!!

You know, the first MBZ to have the shifter moved to the column was the W164 ML. That was for one reason - larger cupholders! Do I need to get on my soapbox about that, too?
