Why do you want a command system?
my CLK 350 has one and my 550 does not, though it does look nice I don't think it's worth spending any money retrofitting 1 in. In my opinion the interface sucks and the Navi is outdated.
I'm going to do a complete aftermarket set up even though I have the Harman Kardon system in my 550. I only need a sound processor or and you head unit. But since I just graduated and i am looking for job I don't think that would happen anytime soon

Hi, it turns out there are 2 distinct versions of Comand for W209 between 2005-09. The MOST years.
One was used from 2005-7 (has "SERV" button) and a slightly different version was used in 2008-9. (has "SYS" button) I have a 2005 CLK and I got a 2008 Comand for it by mistake. Works great but I can't set the time or change time zone. I have already found a proper 2007 unit and it will be here tomorrow or Friday.
Thus I have a 2008 unit going up for sale. If you are in LA area and come by, I can even use SDS to code it as "present" for instrument panel integration.
