Is there a amp fuse? Radio has no sound..

Came out of the bank yesterday and my radio is playing no sound. It does power up, scans for and finds stations. It acts normal but no sound comes out leading me to believe the amp is not on....

Anyone had this problem before?:nix:
Is there an amp fuse?:nix:

Help a brother out MB geniuses.... Thanks in advance

Disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and see if that fixes it.

Go into the trunk, open th fuse flap to your left and remove the large red fuse for a second or two. Replace it and you're good to go. It's a weird clk thing that many of us just accept. I'm not sure anyone knows what causes it, but it works almost every time.

Here's a post I found from last year...

It happened to me too a couple of times. In the trunk, driver side remove the fuse box cover. The fuse u need to put in and out is the biggest one ( orange color) which is located top left.
Easy peasy

Looks like the fuse is orange.

Hope it helps...

I did unhook the battery...it worked, radio works now.

Looks like I might try the fuse next time, at first the windows would not go back up when I opened up the doors.... But that seems to have resolved itself... Thanks guys

Can anyone take a pic of that fusebox? I tried all the red/orange fuses and I still don't have sound. The CLK320 is a new car to me and I wouldn't doubt it if there are missing fuses.

Much Thanks,
Leo

Any additional ideas, please?

My sound has been out for months now.
It came back on briefly, but then dissapeared again.
I have tried pulling fuses and disconnecting the battery, yet I still have no sound.

And I have considered pulling the Command and checking the connections behind, but I would rather not open Pandora's Box, so to speak.

Any additional thoughts to those provided within this thread, please?

Thank you for any help and best regards,
Lovetoflyfish

Mr. FlyFish, this is how I ended up fixing mine (had to replace the amp in the trunk after extensive troubleshooting)
