parts fit w209/w203

just a td-bit of info, today while doing some suspension work on my 209 CLK500 noticed that all suspension parts were labelled with a 203 series part number sway bars, knuckles, arms, so i went into parts dept at dealership where this was being done and looked at parts EPC and found all major components the same except variations in springs(options etc.) so let there be no doubt about interchangability, my reason for paying attention to this was to verify my clk500 brakes will bolt directly to a 203 chassis, i have seen questions as to interchangeability on this board so i thought i would contribute this info

your question is a little unclear but i can tell you that suspension is without a doubt interchangeable from first hand experience, now as far as wheels i sold my clk500 w209 wheels(amg 7.5x17F & 8.5x17R) to a board member(KAZE81)who has a c230 and he put wheels on with no issues, as mentioned the platform/chassis is same between the
w203 and w209. my pss9 coilover kit is labelled for 203 and 209 bodies so you can safely interchange parts, brembo big brake kit same thing, labelled and designated w203 and w209, when purchasing aftermarket upgrades most stuff falls in same designations

hi clkguy

well here's the question that I wanted to make sure. My friend offered me a used brabus mono VI 19x8.5 FA and 19.9.5 both with et35 taken from W203. I just want to know do I need to add spacer for the wheels or I can just put it and have no problem?

and by the way do you know whether I am able to use H&R coil over designed for w203 ?

anyway thanks for all the help

As I've mentioned on the other post, Brabus wheels do not come with spacers, those are called hub-centric adaptors. The front wheels with ET35 will not clear your front calipers. The front offsets should be an ET29. The rear wheels are ok. So, to answer your question: you will need a different hub-centric adaptors for the front and the rears are ok.

Yes, H&R CO for W203 can be fitted on a W209.
