About 3 or 4 months ago I bought a key and a key blade for my CLK 320. The cost was $200 for the key and an additional $50 for the key blade from my MB Dealer. The key (and Blade) was pre-programmed so it worked from minute one. The dealer won't sell you a key unless the drivers license matches the name on the registration. Not necessary to bring title since most cars are financed therefore the title is not available. In my case the registered owner is my wife so I had to bring her along. They will not accept you bringing her drivers license along in her place.
