I've seen several articles where someone is locked out of their trunk due to a malfunctioning remote auto trunk switch, but mine will not disengage so I cannot close and lock the trunk. The red light stays on.


Happened at the airport this afternoon when I dropped off my wife. The trunk will not lock shut. Driving back home, at every stoplight, the trunk would fly open and stay open until my speed was high enough to push it back down.


I can take it in on Monday to the dealer but I need the car tomorrow (Sunday). Any thoughts? Thanks!
