I will be having my quad setup done this weekend, and my carbon fiber diffuser comes in two weeks. Can someone with a carbon diffuser please provide me with the distance in inches between the two cutouts in their diffuser? what i really mean is, how far apart should i get my quad pipes set up so that when my diffuser comes, i can simply have my shop install it. Thanks!

 

theres no quick and easy way to do it mate. I suggest to wait for the rear diffuser to be installed to get exact measurements. It shouldnt take too long for your muffler guy to install it anyway.

I know exactly how you feel mate. but do know that those tips will barely fit on the diffuser cutouts so you have to be very accurate with your measurements. did you measure the tips width if itll fit on the cut outs? some tips can be wider and thats gonna be a problem.

 

what tips? i bought aftermarket generic tips that look similar. i plan on aligning them against the bumper and measuring the two cutouts with them

 

What tips? The tips that you bought on ebay. Are you sure that it will fit on the diffuser that you bought? Some tips are too wide against the diffuser cutouts. I think youll be ok since you bought the round tips is that right?

 

oh ok , i assumed you hadnt seen my other thread. I guess i will have to wait and see. If the tips are too wide, ill have my body shop grind, then lacquer the diffuser when it comes
